ASC 4421 Description:

The models ASC 4421 and ASC 4425 are uniaxial accelerometers based on capacitive technology. Both ASC accelerometers are manufactured with an improved chip technology. The ASC 4421 and ASC 4425 therefore benefit from the high stability of the new chip technology with a low noise level and a low bias and scale factor temperature coefficient.

The sensor has been developed specifically for measuring relatively small acccelerations, as required in the aerospace or automotive sector, for example. The ASC 4421 and ASC 4425 are shock resistant up to at least 6,000 g. Both versions require a supply voltage of between 8 to 30 VDC. The +/- 2 VDC is DC coupled at a DC bias of 2.5 V. The amplified output is easy to use with all common data acquisition units.

The stainless steel package of the ASC 4425 provides a high resistance to strong environmental influences.

ASC 5511 Description:

The model ASC 5511 is a triaxial accelerometer based on capacitive technology. Each of the three axes is working independently and has a 4 wire system. The ASC 5511 is over a wide temperature range fully compensated and factory calibrated. Because capacitive technology is used, extremely small measuring ranges are possible. The amplified output is easy to use with a data acquisition unit.

The signal is independent from the power between +8 VDC to +30 VDC. The package is hard anodized aluminum that is rugged for automotive and industrial applications. A very high flexible and rugged cable provides a simple mounting. The ASC 5511 and ASC 5511LN are equipped as standard with 6 m cable.

The model ASC 5511LN is the Low Noise version and has a better frequency response. Owing the lower noise the ASC 5511LN provides a higher resolution.

ASC 5515LN Description:

The model ASC 5515 is a triaxial accelerometer based on capacitive technology. Each of the three axes is working independently and has a 4 wire system. Furthermore its housing is splash-proof. The ASC 5515 is over a wide temperature range fully compensated and factory calibrated. Because capacitive technology is used, extremely small measuring ranges are possible.

ASC 5521 und ASC 5525 Description:

The models ASC 5521 and ASC 5525 are triaxial accelerometers based on a capacitive technology. Each of the three axes is working independently in the case of the 12 wire system. Furthermore its housing is splash-proof. The housing provides environmental sealing to IP67. The ASC 5521 and ASC 5525 are manufactured with an improved chip technology. Both ASC accelerometers therefore benefit from the high stability of the new chip technology with a low noise level and a low bias and scale factor temperature coefficient.
